Summary

The Caribbean Sudoku does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to Carib Tech Studio. The app runs entirely on your device. The only data that ever leaves your device is data you chose to sync through Apple's iCloud and Game Center services, plus the data strictly needed for advertising (Google AdMob) and in-app purchases (Apple's App Store) in the free version. The Premium purchase removes all advertising.

What data the app handles

DataWhere it livesSent to us?
Game saves, statistics, settingsOn your device, optionally synced via your iCloud accountNo
Game Center scores and achievementsApple's Game Center serversNo
Anonymous device clock anchorOn your device (in-memory + UserDefaults)No
Advertising identifiers and delivery data (free version)Google AdMobNo
Purchases (Premium, help packs)Apple's App StoreNo

We have no servers, no first-party analytics, and no user accounts with us. The free version integrates the Google AdMob advertising SDK; all advertising data is handled by Google, never by us.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable iCloud sync in the app's settings, your saves, statistics, and Daily Challenge attempts are stored in your own private iCloud database (via Apple's CloudKit Private Database). We cannot see, access, or modify this data. You can disable sync or delete all your data at any time from the app's settings.

Game Center (optional)

If you sign in to Game Center on your device, the app submits your scores and achievements to Apple so they appear on the global leaderboards and on your profile. Visibility and friend interactions are controlled by your Game Center settings, not by us. See Apple's privacy policy.

Advertising (free version)

The free version shows ads via Google AdMob. AdMob may process device and delivery identifiers to serve and measure ads, in line with Google's privacy policy. On first launch, iOS asks — through App Tracking Transparency — for your permission to track for advertising purposes: if you decline, you see non-personalised ads. The Premium purchase removes all ads and every call to the AdMob SDK.

In-app purchases

The app offers a Premium purchase (no ads, unlimited help) and consumable help packs. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store: we neither receive nor store any payment data. Your pack balance is kept locally on your device.

Network access

Aside from advertising (free version) and purchases, the app makes one type of network call: an HTTPS HEAD request to apple.com to anchor a trusted clock used to prevent Daily Challenge cheating. No personal data is sent in this request.

Children's privacy

The app is suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

Because we do not collect any data, there is nothing on our side to access, correct, or delete. To delete the data you have generated locally:

Changes to this policy

We will update this page if anything changes. The "Effective date" at the top reflects the most recent revision.
